the royal wedding 2011 picnicOn 29th April there was an impromptu party/picnic/gathering at Shirenewton Recreation Field to celebrate the royal wedding. People were invited to come along, bring a picnic some chairs and relax in the company of fellow villagers. Impromptu entertainment was provided including large chess, croquet, and rounders. There were also impromptu kick arounds. The weather was kind and a good time was had by all.
