SAMFAL Ownership

SAMFAL is a Company Limited by Guarantee.This was seen as the best vehicle for purchasing and owning real estate and also managing the land for the benefit of the community.  

The company is owned by it's members; there are no shareholders.  SAMFAL was registered as a charity in October 2008. Click here to download a copy of the Governing Document of the Association.  

SAMFAL is managed by a board of trustees. As of December 2010 the Trustees, who are elected annually by the members, are:

Stuart Dutton (Chairman);
Alison Broughton (Company Secretary);
Gary Williams (Treasurer);
Liz O'Brien;
Candy Fuller;
Terry Walters.

Other members of the community have played a major part in setting up the Association over the last few years, most notably Tony Wilson (Former Chairman), Mike Gambold, and Charles Crundwell.
