flag & floodlight sponsors

Many people remark on the pleasure they get in seeing the church beautifully floodlit in the middle of the village flying the Welsh flag. Unfortunately, the cost of providing this service, which benefits everyone in the community and which is purely aesthetic, is growing. The recent increases in electrical costs mean that floodlighting is becoming prohibitive. High quality replacement flags cost about £100 a time. We get through 2-3 a year.

Thus the church fund raising committee has decided to offer the opportunity for community individuals and businesses to sponsor both the floodlighting and the flags. Sponsorship costs £50 per item (ie floodlights and flags) per month. You will recognised in the parish magazine, in the Church porch and on this website which will maintain an ongoing historical list of sponsors.
