library building in from malawiUpdate 21 April 2010: The library has been built and Alistair has sent us the following photos (see below the photos for the original story in 2009):
-- original text --
Alistair Bounds (son of the esteemed Mr & Mrs Bounds, of The Chantry, Shirenewton) is spending part of his gap year volunteering in a school in Malawi, C Africa. He and a group of fellow volunteers have decided to build a much needed library at the school in Dedza.
As you can tell from the attached emails (click here) he is fundraising. As a member of the church, a jolly good egg and, don't forget, the offspring of the aforementioned Bounds we have decided to support him!
Well done, Alistair. Go, Alistair, Go. Hip, hip hurray for Alistair.
As well as such moral support he'd be awfully grateful for some hard cash. So please donate generously.
