Taff Trail - Been there & done that!

Saturday 17th April - the day of the Taff Trail cycle.

This was the main warm up leg of the Tour de Pays de Galles. Billed as 55 miles from Brecon to Cardiff with some serious hills in the way. We met at the Rec carpark @ 8:00am to load up. We arrived at the start of the Taff Trail @ Brecon @ 9:30am ish and were 'on the road' at 9:50am.

We arrived at the end of the trail in Cardiff Bay at 6:00pm having covered just over 58 miles at an average speed of 10mph. The weather was kind to us with a small amount of rain around 4:00pm but otherwise mild overcast weather with the occasional outbreak of sun! The pictures are below (as always click on the thumbnail to get a larger picture in a new window) - enjoy!
