Celtic Trail (250 miles)
- Day 4 We left early to ensure that we would make the start of the fete. We didn't want a broken chain or puncture to spoil the day. It was relatively easy cycling - despite the pattern that all accomodation booked by Mark was up hill to start!
At Caldicot Castle we donned our 'Celtic Trail' t-shirts! We had a 40 minute lunch at Chepstow Garden Centre prior to cycling up the lanes and back to the villageto arrive at 1:25 pm in time to join the parade to the Fete.
We were back having cycled some 250 miles and spent almost 25 hours in the saddle! The weight-in was completed at the fete and, you guessed it, as a group we had collectively gained about 3kg! Its all muscle - at least that what we tell our families!
